Requirements

  • Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of qualifying experience performing professional-level administrative duties may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative and/or management functions in operations, budget, contract/grant development, and office management/support services.
  • Assist in the preparation of fiscal reports by monitoring expenditures and maintaining budget compliance.
  • Develop, manage, and implement a competitive bid process, including preparing requests for proposals and consulting with compliance officers.
  • Manage office activities and coordinate clerical and technical support functions.
  • Prepare agenda items, attend department meetings, and make presentations at various business meetings.
  • Supervise and evaluate clerical and technical support staff, delegating and reviewing work assignments.
  • Gather, compile, analyze data, and prepare reports using various software applications.
  • Assist in developing and recommending changes to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze programs, proposals, and projects by researching and reviewing related information.
