Knowledge in Rockwell automation technologies, PLC programming, and HMI design is essential. The role involves conducting routine tests, evaluating plant machinery, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and maintaining critical production equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in the electrical and automation industrial environment
  • Knowledge of low and high voltage, power, and electrical supply in production processes
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Knowledge in Rockwell automation technologies (Allen Bradley), PLC programming, and HMI design
  • Proven experience in electrical cabinet mounting, terminations, and conduit
  • Conduct routine tests and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
  • Maintain sensors and critical process production equipment
  • Ensure proper communication of equipment with PLC
  • Maintain strict maintenance schedules for critical systems
  • Use diagnostic tools for automation problem analysis
  • Knowledge of PLC and HMI communication networks (Profinet, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus DP, Modbus Plus)
  • Advanced knowledge of hardware/software for SCADAs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct electrical field activities
  • Perform electrical commissioning
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and support the electrical field engineering team
  • Ensure quality and compliance to parameters and codes
  • Interact with electrical engineers and staff to identify, define, and resolve developmental issues
  • Specify materials for procurement and monitor material procurement processes
  • Review and interpret design drawings and specifications
  • Understand electrical schematics and locate equipment in the production area
  • Use electrical tools to understand issues and correct them
