About the position
We are currently seeking a Junior Mainframe Engineer/Developer - Dallas area to join our team in Westlake, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). This Mainframe Engineer is part of a high energetic team, responsible for supporting our business partners to ensure projects are implemented with the highest quality. This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.
Responsibilities
- Code research, develop, test, and work with environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in mainframe coding and debugging, with focus on CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, MQ and JCL.
- CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process.
- DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler and debugger tools.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant academics required.
Nice-to-haves
- Good communication and ability to interact with Partners.
- General knowledge in core Java and Front-end Technologies (Angular) is plus.
- Endeavor Software Manager migration tool/process.
- SFTP/AWXAY Secure File transfer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and within a team structure.
