Requirements

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
2-4 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
Can work collaboratively with others (team player)
Enjoys working with positive, like-minded people who are passionate about education
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with the creation and implementation of flexible, age-appropriate lesson plans using Goddard’s curriculum, along with other curricular materials ( Fundations; Everyday Math ).
Inspire a love of learning through hands-on, engaging activities.
Observe and assess student development, adapting lessons using real-time data.
Build a safe, welcoming, and child-centered classroom environment.
Manage daily routines smoothly and use positive guidance for behavior.
Keep families informed through daily updates and conferences.
Foster strong parent partnerships and encourage involvement.
Maintain a clean, safe learning space; follow all safety protocols.
Supervise children at all times—indoors and outdoors.
Engage in ongoing training and stay current on best practices.
Collaborate with teammates to support a strong school community.
