About The Position

We are seeking a Junior to Journeyman Aerospace Engineer to support the development of a digital test environment for advanced missile systems. This role focuses on controlling engineering and high-fidelity modeling within a collaborative Government-Contractor team environment. This position supports a program that includes a nuclear warhead component with a desire to grow while working with a skilled and highly motivated team on leading-edge work. Our team provides IT services for systems engineering and information management systems to multiple major DoD programs. Each team member has opportunities to take on responsibilities according to their experience level and professional growth goals. Our staff mentors one another in their areas of expertise, continuously enhancing the synergistic capabilities of the team. This position supports an established contract for developing mission-critical operations. Our customers’ framework continues to evolve. Evaluating, learning, and integrating new technologies will be a constant factor in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering
  • 0–7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong mathematics background, including differential equations (or higher)
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following: C++ Python MATLAB
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Proven work ethic and problem-solving ability
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active Interim Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to work on a program involving nuclear warhead components

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on highly technical or complex engineering projects
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
  • For candidates with 5+ years of experience: recent hands-on technical (non-managerial) work

Responsibilities

  • Support development of a digital test bed for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS)
  • Develop and analyze high-fidelity models for missile system performance
  • Contribute to concept development, system testing, and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with government and contractor team members on technical solutions
  • Assist in validating and verifying system behavior within a simulated environment
