About The Position

The Junior IT Project Manager will support the technology strategies and plans from the Latin America and Canada Regional offices, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices. This role involves collaboration with leaders and strategic partners to execute projects, monitor key performance indicators, and report on risks and issues. The position requires project management support for enterprise IT initiatives across the region, with a focus on effective communication and adherence to project management frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis/IT Project Management.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to lead diverse parties to reasonable consensus.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Project and Excel; proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments.
  • Self-directed thinker who is flexible and adaptable.
  • Problem-solving oriented with a client-centric focus.

  • Second language proficiency (Spanish or Portuguese).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders and strategic partners to ensure project execution.
  • Support the goals and policies of the company across the region.
  • Review project plans, roadmaps, and other reporting.
  • Build awareness and adoption of strategic priorities.
  • Monitor key projects and portfolio KPIs.
  • Report risks, remediation actions, and escalate issues.
  • Provide project management and implementation support to key enterprise IT initiatives.
  • Bridge communication gaps among different stakeholders across the region.
  • Coordinate annual systems investment planning for Latin America & Canada offices.
  • Ensure adherence to the project management framework, adapting as necessary.
  • Track portfolio KPIs and escalate deviations on budgets and timelines.
  • Control the progress of project schedules and key activities.
  • Prepare status report presentations and take meeting minutes.
