About The Position

Eldora Mountain Resort is seeking Ski & Ride School Junior Instructors for high school students ages 15-17. This role involves providing unparalleled customer service experiences for our youngest guests, supporting instructors with children's programs, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. Junior Instructors will assist with equipment preparation, supervise lunch, escort children to their classes, and ride chairlifts with students. The position requires a love for working with kids and a commitment to the Eldora culture of inclusivity and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

• Must be ages 15-17.
• Previous experience with teaching, coaching, or mentoring children preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children.
• Must be able to ski and ride well.
• Must be able to obtain Junior Instructor certification from PSIA-AASI by Jan 1, 2026.
• Ability to pass a background check by company standards.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children aged 4-14.
• Desire to develop personal skiing and/or riding skills.
• Empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to instructors in children's programs and daily youth lessons.
• Assist with equipment preparation and supervision of lunch.
• Escort children to their classes and ride chairlifts with students.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the Children’s Center.
• Participate in ongoing ski & snowboard training.
• Support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment.
• Work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
