Junior Instructional Designer Intern

This role is responsible for designing and developing engaging, impactful learning experiences for a variety of audiences within the organization. You will collaborate with members of the Learning & Development (L&D) team and cross-functional departments to create high-quality eLearning content that aligns with business goals and enhances employee skills and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), adult learning principles, and assessment techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or a related corporate training role.
- Experience creating eLearning content using authoring tools such as Articulate or iSpring.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage, track, and evaluate training programs.
- Familiarity with gamification, microlearning, and adaptive learning strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, present ideas, and create clear learning materials.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Instructional Design & Development
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging, interactive, and impactful learning experiences.
- Design and develop instructional materials such as eLearning modules, videos, job aids, and assessments aligned with learning objectives and business goals.
- Utilize eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, iSpring) to build courses and other interactive learning content.
- Develop detailed storyboards, scripts, and prototypes to guide the creation of visually compelling and instructional sound materials.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), managers, and other stakeholders to gather information, validate content, and ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational needs.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze learner data and feedback to assess training effectiveness and recommend content or delivery improvements.
- Project Coordination
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities while maintaining quality, consistency, and adherence to deadlines.
