Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- No prior experience required; prior construction or observation experience a plus
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications; knowledge of construction techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong math, communication, and teamwork skills
- Valid US driver’s license required with ability to travel

Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor the construction activities on highways, streets, bridges, and other structures and facilities for compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Record field observations, measurements, and computations to verify work performed
- Prepare clear, detailed reports and maintain accurate project records
- Coordinate or conduct quality assurance testing, inspections, and surveys
