In this highly visible role, you’ll play a key part in operationalizing Vultr’s production hardware and improving our global cloud platforms. What to expect: Work with the latest GPU hardware from NVIDIA and AMD Validate and test systems for onboarding and RMA validation Work with our SA team for knowledge transfer to teach others how to manage and troubleshoot our infrastructure Work with SE teams to understand our testing and validation to improve customer experience Define and provide feedback on testing and validation automation Remediate automation issues through code changes Engage and learn from other engineers to help improve our infrastructure management Understand and document customer use cases that can be used as part of testing and validation

Requirements

  • High attention to detail
  • Vocal about improving and driving change
  • Able to self-lead learning on the fly
  • Entry-level knowledge of Linux and KVM virtualization
  • Ability to read code in Python and PHP and make small tweaks
  • Experience working with PXE, networking, and bare metal systems

Responsibilities
