Junior Infrastructure Engineer
About The Position

The Jr. Infrastructure Engineer will work under the guidance of the Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to assist in the administration and support of infrastructure technologies. This role will have direct hands-on administration of hypervisor virtualization, server and networking hardware/software. This role will directly support business enterprise applications and Cybersecurity physical and technical controls. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Windows Server 2012R2 à 2022 Operation Systems
- 2+ years of Active Directory administration experience
- 2+ years of experience administering Hypervisors technologies; Microsoft Hyper-V preferred
- Hands-on experience with public Cloud providers; Microsoft Azure preferred
- 2+ years of experience in network routing and switching administration
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with firewall technologies; FortiGate Firewalls preferred
- Hands-on experience with HP ProLiant server technologies preferred
- Experience handling Protected Health Information (PHI) data in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Strong documentation skills within an ITSM structure (ticketing, knowledge bases, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- CompTIA Server+, Network+, MCSA, or similar certification preferred
- Hands-on experience with HP ProLiant server technologies preferred
- Hands-on experience with public Cloud providers; Microsoft Azure preferred

Responsibilities
- Administer corporate Hypervisor Infrastructure and Virtual Servers configured in HA topology
- Assist in administration of hybrid Azure-On-premise AD domain and its auxiliary services
- Respond to alerts, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate as needed
- Provide corporate end user technical support
- Administer highly segmented network architecture consisting of Next-Gen firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs
- Support network configuration, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Help maintain backup and disaster recovery processes
- Monitor Infrastructure system health using Network Management System
- Apply routine updates, patches, and configuration changes
- Monitor daily ticket queue for infrastructure support items
- Work directly with Liberty’s Information Security team to implement, secure, and administer necessary technical Infrastructure controls
- Create, update, and maintain Procedural and KB documentation as needed
- Participate in IT Infrastructure after hours on-call rotation
- Promote adherence to IT and InfoSec policies and procedures
- Flexibility for occasional off-site travel is required
- Administer and maintain Infrastructure assets using JIRA asset management system.
