KBR is seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to support the E-2D Trainers and Training Systems for PMA-231 under IACMAC TO 2081. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals on mission-critical projects, contributing to the protection and compliance of defense training systems. The analyst will play a key role in supporting information assurance, compliance monitoring, and system security operations in alignment with DoD standards.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
  • High School diploma + 8 years supporting US Department of Defense Initiatives.
  • AA/AS (Or Advanced Military Training) + 4 years supporting US Department of Defense Initiatives.
  • CompTIA A+ (required).
  • CompTIA Security+ (CE) or equivalent must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • CNSSI 4011 candidate may receive up to 6 months post-hire to meet this requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or general knowledge in securing IT systems and networks.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
  • Additional certifications such as CAP or prior Military CIN J-3B-0440 (IP BASIC).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, modification, and monitoring of information security compliance requirements.
  • Support reporting of system vulnerabilities, continuous monitoring, and annual security reviews.
  • Execute cyber workflow processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in support of Authority to Operate (ATO) actions.
  • Perform account management, hardware/software management, POA&M management, EXORD/TASKORD management, continuous monitoring and reporting, and eMASS Body of Evidence (BoE) uploads.
  • Provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support as directed.
  • Execute annual Emergency and Incident Response Plan activities.
  • Conduct operational audits of system cryptographic keying material.
  • Assist in system compliance testing, system audits, and maintenance of cybersecurity administration and documentation.
