Requirements

  • Working knowledge of data entry
  • Must have excellent communication skills that allow for ideas and directions to be executed properly
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
  • Open to change and able to adapt with everchanging opportunities
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must have a High School diploma

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in the security field
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Familiarity with NISOM and DCSA
  • Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a degreed program is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Industrial Security Specialist(s) to learn and understand all aspects of the security discipline
  • Maintain personnel security records, required trainings, and security clearances
  • Interpret security requirements to help provide clear guidance to team members
  • Understand the DD Form 254 contract security classification specification process and requirements
  • Assist the Security Team to implement and manage access control systems for the company
  • Ability to confidently deliver briefings, presentations, and training sessions to audiences.
  • Support business and team member security needs in accordance with NISPOM and company procedures.
  • Provide regular updates to Program Managers and Directors on the status of security management, security violations, badges, clearances, visit requests, etc.
  • Assist in providing effective security awareness, training, and education (SATE) programs.
  • Attend program meetings where security presence is requested or required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
