You’ll collaborate with mechanical and electrical teammates, support CNC equipment installs, and help validate that every control loop behaves exactly as designed. A day in the role Morning: Review project requirements and translate them into initial control concepts and schematics. Midday: Configure PLCs and HMIs, develop ladder logic or structured text, and run bench tests to verify functionality. Afternoon: Team with mechanical and electrical peers to integrate hardware, troubleshoot automation equipment, and document test results and design updates. Occasional site time: Support on-site commissioning or issue resolution with minimal travel when needed.
