About The Position

CENTREVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS 190 HOGAN ST., PO BOX 158 CENTREVILLE, MI 49032 February 2026 NOTICE OF VACANCY POSITION: JUNIOR HIGH TRACK COACH - 2 positions REPORTS TO: Athletic Director NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS: Shall exhibit high moral and ethical conduct and display a positive value system. Shall be a positive role model for the athletes. Shall be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the sport to be coached. Shall display good judgment in dealing with coaches, parents, athletes, administration, public, and the media. Shall serve as an effective mentor/leader. Prior experience as a coach. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS : Valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate. Experience with an educational institution. Sport skill coupled with the ability to communicate with others. Ability to work democratically with others. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The coach shall be directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the administration, supervision, and evaluation of matters pertaining to his/her assigned areas of responsibility. He/she is responsible for the organization, coordination, and interpretation of the sport being coached. SALARY: As per contract. DEADLINE: Until filled.
