About The Position
The Aurora R-8 School District is seeking applicants for the position of Junior High School Math Teacher (grades 7 and 8) for the 2026-27 school year. Applicants must have appropriate certification, demonstrate a student-centered philosophy, and be proficient in instructional practices to increase student achievement. In addition, the applicant must have a strong desire to work with collaborative teams to develop curriculum and use data to drive instruction. The Aurora R-VIII School District is a 4-day-a-week district, Monday-Thursday. Benefits include: Board-paid health insurance stipend and paid sick/personal leave days.
