About The Position
Our Lady of Angels Catholic School in Burlingame seeks an enthusiastic teacher for Junior High English Language Arts. Must be committed to carrying out the mission and philosophy of the school in collaboration with a dynamic faculty group and in partnership with the parents as the primary educators of their children. High-level enthusiasm, professionalism, flexibility, and competence required. In exchange, the school will provide support and resources for an experienced or new teacher to develop his or her professional competencies in the context of a caring community. Under the supervision of the Principal, the accepted candidate is responsible for teaching Junior High English Language Arts curriculum to students in grades 6, 7, and 8, as well as 7th and 8th grade Literature to meet the Common Core State Standards.
