About The Position

The Junior Full Stack Developer position at the Office of the State Auditor in Utah involves developing and maintaining complex information systems and dashboards that provide transparency to the public and government officials. Requirements

• At least two years of experience developing full-stack applications
• Proficient in writing modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with PHP
• Knowledge of Python (Flask, Pandas)
• Database design and management skills, including familiarity with Big Query, Postgres, Firestore
• Experience in server management and deployment
• Familiarity with Docker containerization of dashboards
• Understanding of web security best practices (SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting, etc.)
• Experience in building and deploying R Shiny dashboards (preferred but not required)
• Ability to use CLIs and work on Linux machines (ssh/remote)
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (GitHub & Google Cloud Build preferred)
• Ability to write code to interact with databases and information systems containing financial, healthcare, or geographical data
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with employees, government representatives, and the public

Responsibilities
