About The Position

The HOTH is seeking a Junior Finance & Data Analyst to enhance decision-making through data. This role involves working directly with the CFO to manage financial and operational data, including cleaning, organizing, and transforming it into actionable insights. It is not a traditional accounting position, focusing instead on understanding data flow, identifying trends, and improving processes. The analyst will utilize tools like NetSuite and HubSpot to ensure data reliability and connectivity, and will also have opportunities to leverage AI tools for efficiency and smarter workflows. This junior-level role is suited for individuals with strong Excel skills, a detail-oriented and curious mindset, and an interest in solving data problems and improving efficiency. It is designed for candidates with 0-2 years of experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data organization)
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to work with large datasets and identify patterns
Clear and concise communication skills

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of financial statements (preferred but not required)
Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) is a plus
Interest in AI tools and process automation

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of financial and operational reports by gathering and organizing data
Maintain and update Excel models, reports, and dashboards
Identify trends, inconsistencies, and anomalies in financial data
Support data organization and cleanup across systems (NetSuite, HubSpot, etc.)
Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by the CFO
Contribute to improving reporting workflows and data processes
Utilize AI tools to assist with analysis and efficiency
Ensure accuracy and consistency across data sources
