Extraordinary Projects, Exceptional Performance DESCRIPTION: As a Junior Field Engineer at Tutor Perini Building Corp, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to: Inspect construction site daily and works with contractors to schedule deliveries. Interpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials. Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors. Prepare field design change requisitions and “as built” drawings. Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations. Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications. Attend meetings with other contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts. Develop checklists for project closeout documentation in conjunction with specifications. Coordinate quality control activities with the construction schedule Assist Contracts Manager with scope gaps. Research and propose solutions to quality control issues. Create, process, and propose solutions and administers RFI’s. Set-up job specific concrete log, as well as reviews and maintains concrete log. Coordinate MEP start-up and commission meetings and overhead and underground coordination. Create scheduling construction sequence, logistics and drawings Understand and comply with company’s safety program and remedial safety procedures. Coordinate changes in mock-ups and/or shop drawings and specifications. Oversee Quantity Take-off’s as project requires Oversee project related pricing/budgets. Develops procurement log and tracks progress to ensure compliance with project schedule.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Associate's degree
  • OSHA Certification
  • General Construction Experience
  • Strong Communication skills
