About The Position
As a Junior Engineering Technician, the incumbent will assist in performing functions of a Water Operator, such as general surveillance on the condition of the Aqueduct and associated equipment. Checks with ACC for flow changes, specific instructions, and priorities. Reads revenue meters and reports data as required. Makes or assists in making detailed inspections, including Check Structures. Assists in regulating turnout flows and records flow data. Makes flow changes for aqueduct control and shift basis. Assist with learning and completing the scheduler duties in the scheduling office. Learn to perform the computations and posting of water deliveries. Incumbent may perform administration tasks in SAP such as time reports, program reports, requisitioning, work order notifications and other SAP functions.
