This is an onsite position.

Requirements

  • An Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required.
  • 0 - 3+ years of experience working in areas associated with engineering and/or systems engineering.
  • Must have experience working in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Must have a current and active Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Degrees focused on Engineering, Math, Computer or Information Science, or Physics are preferred.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing Navy aviation data is highly desired.
  • Experience using Navy and Government databases such as DECKPLATE, IETMS, FRACAS, etc.
  • Familiarity with NATIPS and NATOPS.

Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems under supervision.
  • Participate in reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Provide entry level support in performing functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems under supervision.
  • May require travel within the United States (less than 10%).
