Ignite Digital, has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer/Scientist 3 in Charleston, SC to support our client engagements within the federal government. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong working knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps C4ISR systems and a strong work ethic. This position serves an important role in supporting a DevSecOps development program and producing fielded system improvements.
Requirements
- DOD secret level clearance eligible
- BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Computer Science, Information Systems.
- Six (6) years of experience with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) projects in support of Department of Defense (DoD) efforts to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
- Three (3) years of technical experience in support of Marine Corps/Navy/DoD network infrastructure, networking, server virtualization, object-oriented programming, software development, software configuration, software installation, or cloud transition, and cyber security.
- Experience may be achieved simultaneously.

Responsibilities
- Provide system/equipment support to Navy and Marine Corps C4ISR systems.
- Provide Test and Evaluation support to validate systems/equipment meet minimum C4ISR requirements.
- Assist on the assembly and repackaging of C4ISR systems/equipment to support operational requirements.
- Document test results, along with supporting information and recommendations for corrective measures.
- Provide network engineering support, as required.
