About The Position

Seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to support product design, drafting, and engineering projects within our manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for a Mechanical Engineering student or recent graduate with hands-on AutoCAD experience who is seeking real-world application in a production-driven setting. Part-time scheduling is available for students currently completing their Mechanical Engineering degree. The role transitions to full-time upon graduation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
• SolidWorks experience (required)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Must be available for transition to full-time upon degree completion

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical Engineering students with hands-on CAD coursework
• Candidates who have completed design labs, capstone projects, or internships involving AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD
• Assist in mechanical design, product development, and prototype testing
• Support senior engineers with research, data analysis, and technical documentation
• Prepare and update bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and project files
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues
• Participate in project tracking and scheduling support
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
