About The Position

This position is a junior-level role aimed at individuals aspiring to become Construction Project Managers. The primary responsibility is to lead the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of multiple retail construction projects across the U.S., with a significant travel requirement of up to 90%. The role involves managing various project phases, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience, or five years in lieu of a degree.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in project management software and technology skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Current PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience with proposal preparation and financial management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall direction and completion of multiple retail construction projects.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Manage project development from beginning to end, including consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Oversee all phases of the project including design, permitting, and construction.
  • Navigate contract administration, change orders, budgets, and schedules.
  • Provide project management for multiple sites and states concurrently.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and enhance team efficiency.
  • Communicate project updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Perform regular assessments of project execution for improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
