About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent college graduate in engineering seeking to develop into the role of Construction Compliance Engineer. Though it is a training position, this job will require significant travel and willingness to be flexible with hours. As such, we offer a salary starting at 75,000 not including bonuses, paid travel, and more. This role is focused on rapidly developing a strong foundation in construction compliance, safety regulations, quality assurance, and is for people who enjoy fast paced work environments with opportunities for growth. You will work with our project management and site management teams to ensure that the work is done properly, safely, and up to all relevant codes, as well as assist the management teams with any relevant tasks. You will work under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer to ensure that all work is up to regulatory standards. About IPME IPME is an industrial equipment installations firm. We work with companies from all over the world to build factories, ranging from bottling plants to paper mills, to car plants and chemical plants. We are licensed in 43 states and do work in several states each year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
  • 3.0 or Higher GPA from degree granting institution
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CAD or project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing project plans, specifications, and materials for compliance with codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Support field operations by monitoring construction quality and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Prepare technical reports, compliance documentation, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with site and project management teams to resolve compliance issues in a timely manner.
  • Learn and apply local, state, and federal safety regulations to each job site based on the needs of each site.
  • Participate in internal training and mentorship programs focused on compliance engineering principles and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality and compliance processes.
