Junior Cloud / DevOps Engineer (Part-Time / Remote Intern Level)
About The Position

We are seeking a fully remote junior-level engineer or intern who is eager to learn modern cloud and DevOps practices. You will work directly with a senior platform engineer to build and support a real production platform deployed on AWS and Kubernetes. The role will involve hands-on learning and execution, starting with basic operational and configuration tasks and growing into more complex responsibilities.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AWS basics (EC2, IAM, EKS, Route53).
- Basic Kubernetes knowledge: pods, deployments, services, container concepts.
- Comfortable working in Linux terminals and with basic CLI tooling
- Able to read YAML files.
- Not afraid to ask questions.
- Able to work autonomously under direction from senior engineers.
- Wants career growth in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or Platform Engineering
- US Citizens / Passport holders only due to government work
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day AWS operations.
- Help deploy Kubernetes workloads (deployments, services, ingress, namespace organization).
- Perform basic troubleshooting across services and AWS resources
- Document technical processes
- Participate in review sessions.
