About The Position

The position involves generating, analyzing, and drawing conclusions on large amounts of data to support efficient management of the category and drive critical business decisions. The role assists Category and Merchandise Managers in managing day-to-day local vendor contact for all issues related to item setup, pricing, costs, product logistics, and in-stocks. Responsibilities include planning, tracking, and executing vendor/operations sales incentives and/or contests, as well as providing support and recommendations for local planogram assortment and planning. The position also requires collaboration on promotional and pricing management and executing associated local activities, with occasional overnight travel required. Additional duties may be assigned to achieve operational excellence in the business unit. The role emphasizes maintaining professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, reading professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, business economics, or related field preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of work experience preferred.
  • Retail experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
