GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking multiple candidates for Junior Cabling Installation Technician roles to support projects in various locations throughout the United States and OCONUS. These positions are expected to be temporary as the work schedule and duration may vary based on project location. T he Junior Cabling Installation Technician primary responsibilities will be to perform the installation of premise network cabling systems. Install, label and test premise cabling, connections, patch panels, equipment enclosures/cabinets, cable tray, Protective Distribution System (PDS) conduit, and associated hardware. Updating cable run sheets and other documentation as required. Read and interpret system installation drawings and design packages and apply that knowledge to cabling installations. Install LC, MTRJ, SC and RJ45 connector termination and test fiber-optic and copper cabling systems. Labeling of cables and associated hardware according to standards and cable run sheets. Install various types of cable tray, Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) and EMT conduit up to 4 inches. Able to fusion splice fiber optic cable.
