About The Position

Company Overview: Qualcomm® Terrestrial Positioning Service (TPS) provides geolocation and wayfinding capabilities for mobile and industrial devices such as asset trackers, handheld devices, payment terminals, and more based on their proximity to nearby Wi-Fi, cellular, and other terrestrial beacon installations such as Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE). The service takes a hybrid approach to positioning. Using Wi-Fi and cellular signals, either alongside or independent of available GPS information, it can provide a position estimate even in challenging signal environments. Thanks to off-the-shelf and customized solutions, Qualcomm TPS can integrate at any layer of the tech stack with chips, modules, mobile devices, platforms, and more. In fact, it is already pre-integrated on select Qualcomm products. Backed by intelligent algorithms that can be optimized for specific use cases, across tracking, logistics, retail, payments, and more, TPS delivers geolocation results in a lightweight and power-optimized way.
