SummaryThe Junior BIM/VDC Specialist supports the Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction process and works directly under BIM/VDC Manager or Senior BIM/VDC Specialist to facilitate jobsite construction using VDC. He/she analyzes design for assigned conversions to create workable models & ensures constructability. The Junior Specialist checks for quality and accuracy of models, extracts quantities, clash detection and resolution. Visits field to learn concrete construction means and methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related construction field and limited experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM and of appropriate platforms
