About The Position
The position involves supporting the design and management of systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from inception to phase-out. This includes the creation, analysis, and enhancement of internal IT processes, as well as the development of scripts to automate internal workflows. The role also encompasses routine systems operations and maintenance of infrastructure services, performing routine tests, and documenting system issues. Additionally, the position requires helping to develop technical specifications based on user needs, ensuring that the systems meet the requirements of the business effectively. A significant aspect of the role is assisting in the deployment, management, and monitoring of AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, NACL, Security Groups, and CloudTrail. The candidate will help configure and optimize AWS resources to ensure high performance, reliability, and security. Security and compliance are also critical, as the role involves working with Security Groups and other security measures to protect and manage access to cloud resources. Furthermore, the position supports the deployment and management of containerized applications using AWS services and Kubernetes. Collaboration is key, as the candidate will work closely with senior engineers and other team members to implement best practices and contribute to project success. The role includes installing and configuring operating systems and other software, routinely testing installed software for glitch detection, and providing technical direction to IT support staff. The candidate will also design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety, write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention, and create scalable, automated solutions for the customer base. Establishing multi-platform versions of the software package and writing tests for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability are also part of the responsibilities. The candidate will evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies, as well as design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. Lastly, evaluating hardware and software and resolving LAN/MAN/WAN network-related problems will be part of the job.
