We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Junior Automation Engineer in Framingham, MA.

This job is in the United States and only candidates eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer will be considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Technology, Computer Science, or any other related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in process industrial automation in pharma, biotechnology and/or any GMP environment.
• Experience in PLC and HMI.
• Solid understanding of computer programming and ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Building automation and/or environmental monitoring system will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation, improvement and maintenance of comprehensive automation controls for process automation, building automation and environmental monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers to design, test, commission, start up current equipment configurations & new technologies.
• Update engineering documentation as required for the project.
• Conduct alarm testing, failure investigations and implement solutions (corrective and preventive actions) to solve automation-related issues.
