About The Position

BBB is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Architectural Designer to join our Washington, DC office. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career architectural professional who is eager to contribute to a collaborative design environment and support the development of thoughtful, innovative design solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong design sensibility, solid technical foundations, and the ability to clearly communicate ideas while working closely with project teams throughout all phases of design.

Requirements

  • 0–2+ years of professional experience in architecture (internship experience welcomed)
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Strong skills in 3D modeling (Rhino) and rendering (Enscape, V-Ray)
  • Excellent graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design ideas
  • Collaborative, professional work ethic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, active listening skills, and attention to follow-through

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with historic or existing buildings is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support design teams in developing concepts, studies, and presentation materials
  • Performs basic design assignments, applying standard solutions and solving problems under the direction of an Intermediate Designer or above.
  • Assist with 3D modeling, renderings, and graphic production
  • Collaborate with project teams across multiple phases of design
  • Contribute to a creative, team-oriented studio culture
