About The Position

We are looking for a talented and driven Junior Architectural Designer to join our in-house Retail Design team, supporting domestic and international retail projects. This role shares responsibility for studio design and production, collaborating closely with senior designers, contractors, fabricators, and cross-functional partners across multiple concurrent projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable working through all phases of the interior design process – from concept through documentation and installation – and brings strong technical skills, design sensibility, and an ability to execute with precision. Experience in luxury or specialty retail is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience; retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong conceptual, graphic, and design skills illustrated in a comprehensive portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, Cinema 4D Octane / Redshift and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Enscape, V-Ray, or similar rendering tools.
  • Ability to develop complex, accurate, and well-organized 3D models.
  • Experience drafting complete DD & CD drawing sets, including custom millwork detailing.
  • Ability to work across multiple design phases and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop store layouts, fixture plans, and interior concepts under the direction of senior designers.
  • Build organized and detailed 3D models; produce high-quality renders for internal and leadership reviews.
  • Compile presentations for design reviews, including plans, diagrams, materials, and imagery.
  • Support the production of DD and CD drawing packages across all phases.
  • Draft and detail drawings with accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Assist with custom millwork detailing and fixture development.
  • Research, organize, and document finishes, furnishings, lighting, and material selections.
  • Request and track material samples; maintain the physical and digital materials library.
  • Organize project archives, maintain shared project boards, and support digital file structure upkeep.
  • Prepare documents and materials for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
  • Support project managers and cross-functional teams by coordinating schedules, tracking milestones, managing documentation, and helping keep projects organized, on track, and moving forward efficiently.
