As a core member of our Vendor Products IT team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends. Your Role This position is responsible for Software implementation, System Integration, Development, Configuration, Technical Support, and Performance Tuning. The primary purpose of the position is to install and configure software and provide Level II Support for Vendor products. Initially the role relates to third party products in the area of CRM, Mailbox management and ETL process, but may expand over time into other vendor applications. Additional responsibilities may include Development of new system functionality, Project Management and Testing. Experience with AWS or Business Intelligence applications is desirable but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have an Application Development and Support background with the ability to quickly learn vendor applications from the inside out. This position will work with Business units and the Technology Group. Occasional travel may be required. You will analyze, support and maintain strategic bespoke business platforms in a hybrid hosting environment, across AWS Cloud and on-prem. Provide engineering support of functional and performance issues on a range of applications Prepare changes, scripting, monitor and schedule updates to optimize operations Conduct performance analysis and tuning in of application servers, database tiers and infrastructure Participate and collaborate across multi-functional groups in the operational support model Participate in the Operational Excellence strategy, including strategic monitoring and LEAN process improvement Implementation Install and configure new releases into Test and Production environments Coordinate the Release process with business groups, vendors and operations Communicate detailed descriptions of functionality changes and provide follow-up support as required Application Support / Development Maintain applications, and Configure/Develop new system functionality Administer and resolve support requests coming from application users Create and run ad-hoc database queries / Reports Effectively Communicate with the user community Maintain existing interfaces, and Design and Develop application interfaces as required Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the OS, Database, and SQL code levels Data Management & Configuration Develop and execute database queries to manage tables Create, Copy, Move, and Delete databases Oversee technical environments including databases, application servers, and web servers Testing Participate into QA and Stress Testing. Provide direction and support to the Business Divisions for User Acceptance Testing. Create Test Cases and coordinate execution of the Test Plans.
