Leidos Homeland is seeking a highly motivated Junior Application Developer supporting Airports, Borders and Security FBI portfolio. The candidate will support our Facilities technical IT contract and be responsible for understanding customer needs to create applications. The ideal candidate will operate independently with limited supervision and can establish solid working relationships within the division, as well as our external Government customers. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement. You must be a US citizen with an active TS security clearance to be considered. Primary Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web-based, mobile, or desktop applications according to business requirements. Collaborate with senior developers to design software solutions and implement new features. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following company standards and coding guidelines. Debug and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Participate in code reviews and learn modern software development practices and methodologies. Assist in documenting technical specifications, architecture, and process workflows. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as QA, design, and project management. Stay updated on emerging programming languages, tools, and technologies relevant to the company’s tech stack. Required Security Clearance: Active Top Secret.
