About The Position

We are looking for a well-rounded Junior Appliance Repair Technician looking to grow and perfect their skills. As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work. You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too. Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems. Requirements

Proactive, responsible, good with people
Mechanically minded
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with 5-10 years of driving experience
Comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets that may be present in the customers’ homes
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (if necessary)
High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Proficient in ServiceDesk or similar reporting systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

Complete Appliance Repairs with the highest standards
Drive company vehicle safely and responsibly to and from customer locations
Attend annual trainings
Achieve your annual labor goal
Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards
Complete all required Training Certification and OEM/brand technician training
Update work order status in a timely manner
