About The Position

The Junior Allocator is responsible for creating initial allocations by size in partnership with the Allocator, across both Full Price & Outlet Stores. This role involves collaborating with the buyer during monthly allocation meetings to review the allocation of new products, performing in-season replenishment to stores to maximize sales and inventory turn goals, and analyzing store performance and volume to understand store selling patterns. The Junior Allocator will also analyze and understand store size selling patterns to distribute products efficiently by size, work with the distribution center to ensure timely weekly shipments of new and replenishment, execute monthly Full Price to Outlet transfers of excess inventory, and conduct monthly data clean-up and weekly and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of assist allocation, planning, buying or relative experience
  • Strong communication/multi-tasking skills
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload with attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical/mathematical skills - retail math experience a plus
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Ability to work effectively under changing circumstances
