About The Position

Are you interested in accounting and financial operations? Are you pursuing studies in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration? We are now looking for a Junior Accountant Intern to join our team in Chicago! Internship duration: 4 months Hours: 10-20 hours per week Start date: ASAP, Spring 2026 semester Location: Chicago office Environment: On-site As a Junior Accountant Intern, you will contribute to day-to-day financial operations, support management with reporting, and learn essential accounting processes using systems such as QuickBooks and Dynamics 365.‑to‑day financial operations, support management with reporting, and learn essential accounting processes using systems such as QuickBooks and Dynamics 365. The role includes both tactical and operational responsibilities such as: Learn to prepare financial spreadsheets, reports, and documents Assisting management with financial reports and administrative support, such as documenting and maintaining internal accounting processes Organize, record, and maintain accurate financial records Support research, filing, and data entry Assist in migrating accounts to new programs and vendors Learn to navigate accounting systems including QuickBooks and Dynamics 365 The role is based in Chicago , with the opportunity to collaborate with teams and clients globally as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate commitment and accountability in tasks
  • Collaborate effectively with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Adapt to new processes and ways of working
  • Strong analytical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to be resourceful to solve problems independently, as needed
  • Highly motivated and reliable with strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to QuickBooks or Dynamics 365 is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Experience working with financial tools or accounting software
  • Prior internship or project experience in accounting or finance

Responsibilities
