About The Position

Hardman Signs is a national leader in architectural signage and graphics. We design, manufacture, install, and service high-impact signage solutions for commercial properties, multi-family housing, healthcare facilities, and more. We are seeking a reliable, detail-loving, and team-oriented Junior Account Manager to join our Houston-based Sales Account Management team. This is a high-priority, people-centered role ideal for someone who thrives on juggling multiple priorities and proactive problem-solving. As the "right hand" to our Sales Account Managers, you will be instrumental in ensuring projects stay on track and clients receive a world-class experience. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial proposal to final closeout. The Jr. Account Manager acts as the glue between sales, design, production, and installation, keeping communication flowing and technical details sharp. This position is perfect for a highly organized professional who enjoys coordinating moving pieces and bringing complex projects to life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience in project support or account coordination.
  • Technical Mastery: High proficiency in MS Office and specialized PDF creation/manipulation software (e.g., PDF Xchange).
  • Physical: Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and travel locally for site walks as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the signage or construction industry.
  • Experience managing RFI/RFP processes or construction permitting.

Responsibilities

  • Project Milestone Management: Collaborate with the Sales team to guide projects through bidding, design, production, installation, and final billing.
  • Professional Documentation: Prepare client-ready proposal documents, bid packets, cover pages, and references with 100% accuracy.
  • Design Coordination: Submit and track design/revision requests to ensure clarity and timely delivery to the client.
  • Field & Installation Support: Create and maintain detailed install location plans; conduct site walks (up to 25% travel) to ensure project alignment.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Assist with permitting tasks, including tracking application statuses and coordinating the resolution of any permit conflicts.
  • Proactive Communication: Maintain accurate project status records and provide timely, clear updates to both internal departments and clients.
  • Project Closeout: Organize all documentation required for final approval and billing to ensure a clean finish for every account.
