About The Position

Angle Oak Mortgage Solutions is seeking a Junior Account Manager to join our team! POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Junior Account Manager will work on high performing teams led by a top 10 Senior Account Executive and his or her corresponding Senior Account Manager. The Junior account manager will focus on loan transactions and updates while continuing to accrue more knowledge about strategic side of lending and pipeline management under the tutelage of the Client Services Manager and assigned Senior Account Manager. The career path for this position will lead to eventual roles as an account manager or account executive. The Junior Account Manager will work as the liaison between the Internal & external customer and the Underwriter to ensure the customer has an exemplary experience while allowing the Underwriter to focus on loan reviews & daily workflow. Perform all duties in accordance with Angel Oak policies, procedures, guidelines and applicable state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Account Manager/Executive by sending follow up communications on outstanding conditions and updating Salesforce appropriately.
  • Assist the Senior AM/AE by converting and sorting conditions within 24 hours of submission
  • Follow up on the LE sent not submitted pipeline and update Salesforce appropriately.
  • Follow up on loans stuck in Set Up and update all parties along Salesforce
  • Track the lock expiration report and alert The Senior Account Manager of deals within 72 hours of expiration
  • Assist in working the active pipeline as needed
  • Capitalize on training opportunities within the Client Services department to ensure growth & efficiency of overall team.
  • Collaborate with sales, underwriting, closing and funding departments regarding loans submitted to those departments and timelines for completion.
  • Ensure all Angel Oak policies are adhered to.
  • Participate in group projects and activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime during peak business flow (occurs at month-end).
