About The Position

The Specialty Store Junior Account Executive is responsible for driving wholesale revenue growth across a portfolio of key specialty retail partners. This role owns the full sales lifecycle— from relationship development and market appointments to order execution and post-sale follow-through—while serving as a strategic partner to accounts. The ideal candidate is sales- driven, highly organized, and relationship-focused, with a strong understanding of wholesale dynamics and specialty retail. They are a strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts, a consultative selling approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional service and results for retail partners.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, sales support, or a related role (fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or consumer goods preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and a commitment to accuracy in order entry and account execution.
  • Comfortable working with wholesale systems and tools such as NuORDER, Excel, and order management platforms (or eager to learn).
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a professional, service- oriented approach to retail partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to review sales data and support assortment and sales recommendations.
  • Team player who collaborates well cross-functionally with merchandising, operations, and marketing.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, market, and key account meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management and growth of an assigned portfolio of specialty boutique accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to expand sales within existing accounts by analyzing performance, recommending product, and optimizing assortments.
  • Own the full order lifecycle from sell-in through fulfillment, ensuring clear communication and seamless execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts-address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely, solutions-oriented support.
  • Manage digital sales assets, including curation and maintenance of line lists and assortments within NuORDER.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute trade show and market appointments, including booth setup, sample prep, and showroom organization
  • Represent Petite Plume at trade shows, buyer meetings, and virtual appointments, acting as a brand ambassador to current and prospective partners.
  • Follow up post-market to drive orders, confirm commitments, and convert opportunities into sales.
  • Support the team in working toward monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Assist the sales team with day-to-day responsibilities, including account follow-ups, order entry, and reporting
