About The Position

Junior Academy Lead Teacher 2026-2027 School Year Junior Academy Lead Teacher Monday - Friday Qualifications The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect: A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for Christian Academy School System Agreement and belief that The Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind Accountabilities / Responsibilities Provide spiritual leadership to the students entrusted to his/her care Prepare lesson plans and teach the curriculum provided by the school Use instructional materials and methods which are consistent with the school's educational and Biblical philosophy Create a classroom environment conducive to learning Seek to communicate clearly, accurately and often with stakeholders, both written and oral Use Matthew 18 principle when needing to share concerns Attend and participate in scheduled meetings as required Take advantage of opportunities to grow professionally Keep anecdotal records of unusual events in the life of a child Maintain good working relationships with other faculty Maintain working hours assigned by the Junior Academy Director Follow all school policies Accept teaching position assigned by the Junior Academy Director and any extra duties Attend and participate in the Annual Orientation, Annual Open House, programs, and other events sponsored by the Junior Academy Requirements CDA, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Educations, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required Experience leading a classroom and lesson planning experience preferred The candidate shall prior to start date provide/successfully complete the following: TB Test CPR & First Aid Training Criminal Records Check

Nice To Haves

  • CDA, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Educations, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required
