About The Position

Rainbow Blossom Natural Food Markets has been part of the Louisville community since 1977. We are currently hiring a full-time Juicing & Healthy Food Prep team member to join our Culinary Department. This is a hands-on role focused on preparing fresh food and producing bottled juices using commercial juicing equipment.
This role involves consistent hands-on prep work and production tasks, and is best suited for someone who enjoys working efficiently behind the scenes as part of a team.

Requirements

• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 90 days
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Comfortable working in kitchen environments and walk-in coolers/freezers
• Full-time position (minimum 30 hours per week)
• Flexible availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food items following standardized recipes
• Operate industrial juicing equipment to press and bottle fresh juices
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and labeling standards
• Keep prep and storage areas clean and organized
• Assist with kitchen prep and production as needed
• Work efficiently to meet daily prep schedules
• Support a positive and collaborative team environment
