The FJD is hiring a Judicial Tipstaff I for The Honorable Jennifer Schultz. The ideal candidate for this position is interested in the law and is looking for greater exposure to the functioning of the judiciary while they obtain their law degree. This position provides potential job growth opportunity and additional work responsibilities to include post-conviction review work, legal research, and drafting of opinions. The Judicial Tipstaff I serves as a personal aide to the assigned member of judiciary in the Criminal Trial Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Important aspect of the job involves assistance of courtroom operations, and performing various other duties as assigned. The Tipstaff is directly responsible to and serves at the discretion of the appointing Judge.
