Responsibilities

  • Research legal sources for briefs or opinions based on statutory law, decisions, and precedents of higher courts.
  • Prepare high-quality briefs, orders, and opinions for judicial review and signature.
  • Complete docketing and service of notices, orders, and opinions.
  • Maintain research files on case documents and related correspondence.
  • Handle correspondence from counsel and establish effective working relationships with court personnel and the public.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with assigned caseload and adhere to deadlines.
