The City of Sandy Springs Municipal Court is seeking a dependable Judicial Clerk to provide essential clerical and administrative support during court operations and judicial proceedings. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1–4 years of clerical, administrative, or related experience (A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field may substitute for experience)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain GCIC Certification within 12 months

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Current GCIC Certification

Responsibilities

  • Performing clerical and administrative duties in support of the Sandy Springs Municipal Court
  • Maintaining court dockets, calendars, filing deadlines, and hearing schedules
  • Assembling, organizing, and preparing documents and materials for judicial proceedings
  • Managing, reviewing, and entering case information into court databases
  • Monitoring deadlines, tracking action items, and documenting completed tasks
  • Generating reports related to court activity, due dates, and case status
  • Reviewing previous case records for accuracy and entering new cases
  • Processing incoming mail and filing, retrieving, and organizing court documents
  • Performing accurate data entry using electronic systems and databases
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with judges, court staff, attorneys, and the public
  • Providing courteous, tactful assistance to the public in sensitive or challenging situations
  • Obtaining GCIC Certification within 12 months of hire
  • Performing other related duties as assigned under immediate supervision
