About The Position
JROTC Senior Army Instructor (SAI) Senior Army Instructor for the Leavenworth High School JROTC program, responsible for the daily operations, management, curriculum, training, education and well-being of 300-plus high school cadets. SAI duties include, but are not limited to: Oversight of all aspects of the oldest JROTC in the nation Direct supervision of three retired Noncommissioned Officers Selection, development, and oversight of the cadet battalion staff Planning and execution of numerous major events and brigade inspections Advise and mentor multiple co-curricular teams before and after school, including interstate travel Ensure the program is an integrated part of Leavenworth High School Manage the JROTC budget Meet all department head requirements Assist in the development and execution of school policies Interface with community leaders and parents Frequent before school, after school, and weekend duties should be expected Applicants are expected to be in (and maintain) good physical condition, and must meet height/weight standards Applicants must satisfy all Cadet Command JROTC instructor pre-hire requirements ( http://www.usarmyjrotc.com/ ) prior to interview, as well as all USD 453 qualification requirements for JROTC instructors. Requirements
