About The Position
All JROTC units are authorized an Officer and a NCO. The requirements for an Officer are as follows: Officers who have separated/retired within the past 5 years with a minimum of 10 years cumulative honorable service in the grades of W-1 through W-5 or O-3 through O-6. ARNG and USAR (Actively Serving/TPU)- will fall under the same requirements mentioned above. In addition, Letter of Recommendation from current Commander and current DA Form 5016 or NGB 23A, is required. Roles and Responsibilities - Army Regulation 145-2 and Cadet Command Regulation 145-2 contain specific information pertaining to the roles and responsibilities within the JROTC Program.
